In 2005 we
started out strong and then had a mysterious problem hit our
car . We couldn't figure out what was causing our power loss
and changed everything ...I mean everything we could think
of that could possibly be causing it and the problem
persisted . We had our run off for the King of Hot Rod at
the Good-Guys March Meet because Jeff Cryder and I had tied
in points for the championship in 2004 . We had a tough
double breakout race and I got the win light making me "The
King of Hot Rod " . We continued working on the car and
ultimately found a bad torque converter causing the gremlin
we experienced most of the year .
It's good to be the King!!!
